Happy Friday!!!!!! I hope this week has treated you well. There have been so many comings and goings, namely theeeee Chloe show that has left me in a TRANCE.
Additionally, at some point, we’re going to have to talk about culture’s delusion RE — Princess Meghan. Seeing a lot of think pieces, but I fear we need to pass the mic to EIHG culture (dare i say.. girls who know girls with titles lmfao). Like the takes are devastatingly WRONG (no one is correctly unpacking the underpinning relationship between status, entitlement, and shifts in culture…..).
Coincidentally, the theme of this letter is No More Mr. Nice Guy. We all do a lot of shopping on this corner of the internet, but I also feel it’s important to come back to purchases and get honest about iF IT WAS WORTH IT. I’d love to do more of this with you in our TM groupchat too!!! No one influences me more than you guys.
Some reviews this week are glowing, others.. aren’t. We pander 2 no one’s ego in TM land hehe — let’s dig in;
This euro lip balm (tbh serum) is EIHG culture in a fckn TUBE. I discovered via my friend Elizabeth Grace Hand whilst at her NYC EHG Mecca,
. Knowing Elizabeth is accepting brash honesty about what sux and what doesn’t. Her curation reflects that, and when she told me I neeeeeded this lip balm I said SAY LESS. She was right. I have re-fallen in love with it this winter, and heavy/luxe packaging aside, this serum/balm/potion GETS 2 WORK.Still testing samba replacements… the Adidas Tokyo seemed promising, and while cute out of the box, upon try-on I elected to return PROMPTLY (had ordered these and these). I can’t explain aside from No? But could be a yes on you, I’m finding that MOST sneakers aren’t universal, and maybe that’s why we’re all faltering on the panacea to Life After Samba.
HOW IS THIS MULTI-USE SPRAY REAL. The Goop Adjacent mom beloved Garden of Earthly Delights is dare I say… best in mist form. I started by heavily dousing this suuuuper fine (like a cloud) mist on my pillows before bed.. BUT THEN, I got an insane massage at a gorgeous spa this weekend and they used mostly sangre de fruta. I spritzed my entire body with the tonic afterwards (my masseuse recommended), and genuinely felt transported to a faraway land where WSJ notifs on trump and tariffs do not reside….. THEN during a flight on Wed, I started spraying on my face in a pinch as I forgot my BR l’eauxygenate — IT’S ALL VERY GORGEOUS & DREAMY. I have found zero utility wherein this product doesn’t work & isn’t magical. You know how that dad in my big fat greek wedding was with windex????? That’s me now, i’m HERE.
Finally procured the brown row eel loafers. Love them. No one is lying to you, I’m so sorry but they are very perfect. Works for many different cuts of jeans which is a hard task for a loafer, and VERY soft/pliant/comfortable. Unfortunately, the last time I found them VERY online at 2am I shouted on all rooftops (TM groupchat/insta stories) and haven’t seen the brown stocked so liberally since. If you do find….. RUN (black is relatively stocked here & some brown here).
got that Mrs. Michelin drip awwnnnn Ok IDK if you remember, but I mentioned how a very chic EHG at my Tribeca nail salon was wearing the sickest khaite puffer of all time. It stopped me in my tracks. Unfortunately (and if you’re in our TM GC then u knoooow), I forgot that SHE was min 5’10 and I** am at best 5’4 :) :) :). The jacket ATE ME ALIVE. So chic and so cool tho and if I could elongate my proportions on a stretcher I’d have kept so fast, unfortunately RETURN.

My insta girls commented on how much they love it, my tiktok girls commented on how much they HATED IT (see below lmfaaaooo). I wrote about it on TM a couple of weeks ago, and I lamented the agony of finding GOOD EVENING BAGS THAT ARE BLACK TIE APPROPRIATE (begging U 2 leave ur mini kelly at home). IMHO, I feel as though the toteme bag is stunning & perfect (so well constructed), and therefore, answers all of my problems…. BUT not to sound ridiculous, I almost never get “girl return that” comments on my videos. And because I refuse for hubris to be my achilles, I always take everyone’s POV VERY SERIOUSLY (I am very lucky to say that my ppl across platforms are consistently the most CHIC SMART HOT INTERESTING WOMEN WHO LIKE 2 SEE OTHER WOMEN WIN)…… anyway, genuinely at a loss here… I think I’m keeping (my chic hot interesting smart FRIENDS texted that they love it)??? BUT throwing a final alley oop to my TM princesses — what do we do???
Ok also in the vid above, and also cheating bc guest in residence sent this to me…. but I had sincerely crafted a bullet for an upcoming shopping letter that had the same cashmere RUGBY. I’ve been on a hunt for the right plane sweaters and this felt so cool so fun and so comfy — all of my words. I’d wanted to buy oversized so it layers well and covers my a$$ (why have I been awk about showing a$$ in leggings 4 athleisure lately, I keep pulling my sweaters down???? LOL). Anyway, I clearly manifested this???!!!! AND the sweater successfully accomplished all that I’d hoped for (SOFT AF), and on my Wed flight, I layered it over my international HOT GIRL leggings x favorite row long sleeve!!! Ate I fear….
Reporting back on this VERY EIHG core wooden, terracotta amber ball. It is VERY chic (an international x goop adjacent mom brand), but also scented STRONGLY (at first). I realized that you have to reaaaally love amber in that first week. Upon reflecting on the homes I have visited that are also adorned with this chic ball (that pomegranate has NOTHING on my queen), I realized it’s what supplies the base scent profile for a home. Over time, it becomes VERY subtle, and also I’ve decided it adds an oomph that makes my apt smell DIVINE. I burn a lot of sage/palo santo and always have at least one candle burning and it all just marries beautifully. Even my maintenance guy was like man it smells GOOD in here — no candle that morning! hehe.
UGH. Reporting back after 4ish months of wearing my jcrew brushed cashmere sweater. I wear it quite often, and the red is very punchy & cute, especially with my favorite leset white tee underneath (that styling gives the row to me). HOWEVER, over time I’ve decided that it deffffff feels more acrylic than cashmere. IK that it’s unfair bc I do own a lot of Lisa Yang, and the price points are egregiously diff…. but i’d say it’s a solid brushed cashmere dupe in looks, but not a dupe in quality/FEEL. I hope that makes sense…. HOWEVER, I’ve been hearing that this brand has brushed cashmere that is INCREDIBLE and 100% comparable to Lisa Yang…. at a much more approachable price point (these seem like a strong dupe for the Lisa Yang Ellery pant, and I really want this sweater). The whistle was first blown in Sept by my dearest friend Shay, so I know it’s goooood. OH and 25% off today 4 women’s day!!
Not niche but not proliferated ENOUGH for what it’s WORTH — this is the best cotton underwear of allllllll time. I only wear cotton undies during the day (and most nights) and I am addicted to this brand. Both cuts (here and here) are perfect, but one sometimes gives me The Dreaded Line. Unfortunately, I am barely awake when I’m showering in the morning so I don’t know which cut does it LOL, I just lament at like 2pm when I see myself in leggings in the mirror (@ home so my a$$ isn’t covered HAHA). Anyway, enjoy.
Lastly, the Khaite sweater came (also in the vid^). Realized it was like 60% off?? Guys I’m a fckn CHAMPION. Unfortunately, it is too big (lol — see what hubris will do). I had tried an M at the Webster, and an L meant that the bishop sleeves became bell sleeves when I pushed it up. Khaite makes the most plush and bouncy cashmere so I’ve been dreaming of wearing on casual days with a wide jean and leopard sambas OR for travel with my aforementioned international hot girl leggings (the lore on those can be found here). Don’t fret, I am committed to keep fighting for what’s MINE, and I know she will find me again at the perfect time.
BONUS — TODAY Morgan Stewart was wearing the sick leopard Valentino jacket that I hit u all w/ LAST WEEK (had linked 2 bergdorfs but already sold out there woah). APPARENTLY she ALSO picked it up a week ago….. not saying our queen reads TM, but I’m taking this as a personal, cosmic dub that I will never lead U astray. TBH it’s my virgo birthright to have nearly spotless instincts — in the trinity of Beyonce (sun), Zendaya (moon), and adult Sofia Richie Grainge (rising), AMEN.
Some TM universe housekeeping: I am going to play around with moving our Monday letter to Tuesdays??? I got the sense that you all preferred the Tuesday morning drop this week. LMK if u have strong opinions either way!! Xx
