Great read. Did you catch Kendall’s hat in the finale in the “meal fit for a king” scene? It was for a members-only golf course on the island. Love the little details that went into wardrobing that character and the inevitable story behind each piece.

aww thank you so much <3 and OMG I certainly did NOT but now I must go back and see -- live for that. What a nod to the transitional state of his life, going from potentially becoming his father to being a nepo bby AT BEST (maybe the subconscious need to fall back onto cultural capital bc his level of wealth and power won't make him interesting *enough* as the "kid-of").

Brillant article about nepo kids and hats and what the symbiose. I never watched Succession, but I see Yasmin hat is hiding behind the status that she is slowly losing this season once her father is gone.

Lauren Sherman recently talked to the co-creators on her podcast and tried to convince them to sell Yasmin's hats because "people will buy them". And I totally agree, I would buy her hats. So I guess that means I'd rather be a Yasmin

God I love this so much. I would want to be a Yasmin because…who doesn’t want to be secure in their wealth and privilege. It’s classic Jane Birkin lugging around her beat up bag vs someone buying a rare leather Birkin.
