a VERY Elusive International Hot Girl (EIHG) Core list of Good Things this week. hehe! ha ha ! <3 <3 <3

1. Ok not to brag but… I found the most perfect puffer jacket of all time. Let me be very clear about my qualifications: nyc finally decided to honor the fact that it’s.. winter, and temps were consistently dropping below 35 in the morning. A couple days a week, I go to a 7am workout class in Tribeca, then go on a long walk, and then eventually make my way home to Chelsea to start my day. My perfect brown toteme coat looks incredibly chic w/ athleisure, but as someone who SWEATS, it doesn’t feel like the right choice (since it’s unlined). My shiny gold puffer is cute.. but not long enough to make me feel ensconced in the way that I want to feel at 8am.

   1. This lead me to the truth, I finally needed to secure a proper BLACK PUFFA JACKET. Ideally mid-thigh, ideally warm af, and importantly, no dumb logo patches on the arms (rip my college canada goose…. wishing u well). Enter, Herno — a very chic, stealth, and EIHG core outerwear brand based in Milan. I immediately bought this stunning black puffer that feels like the softest and most plush, down, pillow-like clouds on your body. It has an overstuffed neck that zips like a turtleneck (or down neck brace? lol) and unzipped, could easily serve as a down neck pillow. INSANE operation here. There are zippers on the sides so you can zip up and down for more or less movement, which feels so intentional and graceful. And the materials are second to none — that zipper is HEAVY, the stitching is TIGHT, and the fit is LUXE. When I texted my EIHGs, I had expected to hear OMGGG send the link — instead, I heard, “tariro duh, Herno is the best”. THEREFORE, I am spreading the good news. Lots to choose from, but I believe this one is perfect. My pride and joy.

      

2. say it with me: I do NOT need to get matching mini rose gold baignoire’s with my best friend…….. this has been my version of counting sheep ever since this pic happened a few weeks ago. The baignoire is so chic and so beautiful, my first time being influenced by it was when I saw Sabrina Elba wear hers styled alongside the most perfect khaite fit. My EIHG bff is contemplating, and therefore WE are contemplating, because this yin and yang energy just feels too good to resist. For now, I stand firm and tall that I do not neeeeeeed this watch, but I would very much liiiiiike this watch. We’ll see, 2025 could get crazy, who knows.

3. Ok this is a good thing for the girls who want to be AHEAD, or a good thing of the future for those who need more examples to double down on something. Shield sunglasses are HAPPENING in 2025. I’ve felt the tingle in my gut for the past few months, and an EHG in my life (who is also a former vogue editor…therefore right… a lot) is also obsessed with them. It’s giving hedonism core, which if you read TM, then you know that hedonism is ALSO happening for 2025, but for most of us — in a pulled-back, “we’re going there” way within your existing style codes. I’m done with my friends de-influencing me on these fckn GOGGLES. I NEED THEM. The more obscene, the better!!!! I can’t tell if I should go Loewe or Phoebe Philo (my faves?) or Bottega (these or these) or wait to see what other styles drop? And NO — I have not validated whether or not these will be entirely goofy on me, but I will leave that to God. It’s all about the energy, anyway.

4. For all the girls raised by goop adjacent moms (or ARE the primary goop adjacent in your life): this is the greatest magnesium to ever exist. It’s like powdered espresso. You feel so focused and CLEAR after continued use, and has significantly helped me ween my caffeine problem. It doesn’t taste great, but girls who went through goop-adjacency know that taste is never the North Star for a vitamin or supplement (lol🫠). I have been without it this break, and found myself forgetting the word for “sticker” today…. after having used sticker correctly in the sentence prior…… Do with that what you will…….

   

5. I’m really into perfect manicures lately. I started going to gilded ritual in tribeca earlier this year, and I never realized how much a GOOD manicure can change your life. I went black for the holidays (lol) but this pink is truly very special. I think it’s less about looking externally for that “what color are you wearing” and more about finding the right color for YOU and your undertones. However, feel free to use other ppl as a reference point (Sofia Richie’s oxblood led me to finding MY perfect shade of oxblood)!! I think it’s a Proper Manicure winter, like we need to take whatever dopamine we can get.

6. Uhhh this nette candle is fabulous????? I am not really in the Nette Hive. I think their stuff is fab, but typically close enough to things I already own that I’m never compelled to buy. HOWEVER, This candle smells like what I need winter to smell like. It’s the perfect compliment to my perfect & intoxicating candle from ex nihlo (like warm milk and hazelnuts it’s insane). This one’s base is hilariously also steamed milk, but has a bit more of an oomph (ginger, cardamum, cedar wood, lavender..) that makes me feel like I’m falling in love? On a sunday, in winter? Dreamy (also on sale so I bought 3 HA).

7. My mom’s bathroom is my version of vogue beauty secrets. Every time I come home I discover something new. This time, it’s this environ face cream. It’s…. magical? I have Big Beef with Augustinus Bader’s rich cream (love some of their other stuff tho!). ON ME — it gives more eucerin than it gives lipid rich, deeply moisturizing, glowy. Environ’s is similar, but it gives everything I just described AB doesn’t…. and then some. My skin glows ALL DAY. It feels hydrated and delicious. I could drink this stuff. That bottle is absolutely never seeing my mom’s bathroom again, she’s mine now :) :) :)

8. Okkkkkk. Costa Brazil did their Big One with this fragrance oil. It goes on like a roller, and smells like you’ve ascended into a Higher Consciousness. Not kidding, when I think about what White Lotus Season 3 probably smells like (meant to be bali-esque in Thailand), I think it’s this oil. It’s like energetically expansive but also grounding and also sensual? I feel connected to the earth but also to my crown chakra? Huge. I am tempted to buy 17. It’s also PERFECT for travel because it’s an oil/roller, and the smell lasts forever so you don’t need much. Biiiig win, so happy about this one.

   

ok wow — I just realized that this is the last letter on trademarked for the year!! I’m writing this in a sprinter en route to the airport (chaos culture LOL), but by the time you read this I’ll be in Zimbabwe!! I’m taking next week + the following Monday off to be with family for Christmas, but we’ll be back with a shopping letter on the 3rd! Feeling like we should start the year with some Elusive (International) Hot Girl reporting? Let me know;
