HELLOOOOOO I hope you had an amazing week. So much has happened!!! I’m really upset that Andy Cohen didn’t squeeze his way into the conclave, but Chicago might be the dubbiest american city of all time now…. like Obama AND the POPE?????? WHEWWWW. Met gala was legendary, I cried at multiple looks and felt so grateful to get to experience culture this way!!!! And as an LOL, my doormen commented on how I had far LESS packages roll through this week, which made me realize that I’ve overall consumed far less and observed way more over the past 7 days….

and with that has me staring blankly into my closets to determine what I eff with and what simply has TO GO. Which feels aligned for this week’s letter?? It’s time to dig into some honest POVs on chic things recently acquired……. LFG;

1. OK KHAITE, I SEE UR GAME. When I first saw these Maasai-core beaded khaite kitten heels I was like FINALLY the convergence of my identity is mainstream again LOL. I was not surprised when a LOT of you bought these shoes because you have perfect taste…. duh….. and each week that went by without me owning them, I felt like the youngest sibling watching their big sister get ready for prom. AKA excited for U and wistful for ME…. UNTIL my mom was like these are you in a shoe why haven’t you bought them yet, and by the next breath I was staring at the “thank you for shopping with us” page following checkout LMFAO.

   1. Anyway, I am here to tell you that…. they are perfect. I’m trying to do less f33t on the internet bc my capital I influencer friends keep saying “for FREE” and now I feel weird-ish about it (altho that won’t really stop me for long LMFAO who cares about MY toes yk????) — ANYWAY, they are comfy and gorgeous and very walkable, with an asterisk. I think my feet are shaped oddly for the shoe, so I find the 38 to be slightly small and the 38.5 to be slightly big…. I’m keeping the 38 because I find them easier to walk in (my foot isn’t sliding), but they are slightly LESS comfy than they are in the 38.5…. to some of you, I get this sounds crazy, but I refuse to return them!!!! They are perfect 4 ME — a timeless shoe within my codes!!!! And if you’re reading this, perhaps your codes too!!!!!!! RECOMMEND <3

   1. But I WILL say that I got this butter yellow THIN THIN cashmere sweater and this khaki cropped overcoat and WOW. The sweater is soft and is designed to HANG in the way that our 90s icons wore theirs.. It’s oversized, but still feels fitted, and it’s a bit sheer based on how thin it is, which is TM core. Then this jacket, which I thought would be disastrously plain or frumpy on me (given I'm 5’4 not a 6’0 model LOL), but BOOOY I was wrong. It’s cut semi a-line in a way that feels Loewe adjacent, and just fits so beautifully. I want to wear it with everything. AGAIN, the quality of this stuff is breathtaking… for comps, more than DEFINITELY on par with toteme, et al… how I ever doubted queen GP i’ll never know…. WOW!!!

3. You guys know that I’d never lead you astray….. so if you love skims then Negative will BLOW you away. I wear this set at least once a week (top, pants), and it makes me feel like I’m kissing self actualization every time I catch myself in the mirror. I’m more productive because, frankly, I feel hot and like the lead in a romcom who DEFINITELY has her sh*t together :D. Also, this brand makes the best cotton underwear of all time, and if you aren’t already here you might as well be. WORTH it!!!! I wear this one and this one… both are fab, and I still can’t tell you that i’ve zeroed in on which I prefer — I just buy multiples of each and call it a day LOL.

   

4. It is a truth universally acknowledged that hot girls WILL be wearing the dries sneaker this summer like it’s their JOB. It feels like the only sneaker that everyone (well, at least E(I)HGs) can agree on rn. Also, sidebar,

   1. BUY THEM IMMEDIATELY (warning U they sell out!!!). I find my dries sneakers to be very comfortable (albeit LESS comfy than the samba, but only by a hair), and VERY walkable. They feel supportive on my foot, and I’m surprised by the fact that I reach for them before my Wales Bonner sambas now… like I want to wear them CONSTANTLY. I went with the now sold-out green pair that looks like rugrats and tbh I think I made the right decision. Fits into my personal style and brings some zsa into my fit overall…. annnddd passes my Leo Venus test, as I always get a compliment from a cool, fashionable person whenever they see them peeking out from under my jean!!! FUN, chic, FAB!!!!

      

5. What do NYC’s hottest + newest member’s club AND its coolest + most EIHG-core hotel (the guests-only patio at the Greenwich lowkey serves as its OWN members club for chic out of towners) have in common????? They BOTH serve this brand of gatekept tea!!!! The mint, particularly, is truly incredible. I know there are many loose leaf purists, but I am l@zy and cannot be bothered to deal with that on most days. This is the best pre-bagged mint tea of all time and if you disagree with me I am sorry but you are wrong. It’s zippy and luxurious and doesn’t give me a tummy ache (sometimes mint tea does that to me). ALSO priced so affordably, a box is less than $15!!! Buy a bunch and store for chic hostess gifts, a delight!!!

6. EHGs/EIHGs — we must discuss biologique recherche’s downfall???? I fear the only two products left in my rotation are this perfect spray and this perfect mask (altho I think all the masks are still fab!! vivant rocks too!)…. like THIS is a photo from my top shelf in 2023 (makes me giggle, it’s like a time capsule of my 26 year old self).. at my peak I think I used 11 BR products a day LOOOL

   

   TBT… so much is the same… so much has changed

   Anyway, insidery facialists have told me that the products have fallen off because they’ve lowkey reformulated most of it, and TBH it tracks because it really isn’t nearly as effective as it once was. I’ll miss this era, but it is time to wave goodbye !!!!!!! again… NOT to masks or that majestic mist… just all else LOL

7. Ok I want you to hear me when I say that this is THEEEE necklace to yearn for if you’re a button down (or t-shirt) girl. Sapir Bachar is an EIHG beloved brand that simply gets it right alwaaaays!!!! Like i’ve been fixated on acquiring this necklace for over a year…. so pls pLSSSS imagine my SURPRISE when they reached out to send it to me!!! I wore with this chocolate brown nili lotan button down and felt like I was reaching my max potential all evening… like being unfckwitable was truly the thematic overtone of my aura, HA! Anyways, I’ll keep wearing and update after we’ve had more time together, but WOW?????? come ON!!!!

8. UH HELLO, I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON *THE* KHAITE RENE SWEATER!!!!!!!! This is, what, 7 months in the making??? We had a false start in feb/march when I found on sale on FWRD but the L was too big…. I found AGAIN in April on TRR for like $600… NEW WITH TAGS U GUYS. I didn’t even take a screenshot bc I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and didn’t want to jinx it hahahaha. Anyway, the M was the right fit, she is perfect, I wear perhaps once a week when I’m going somewhere they crank the AC, and wore this afternoon for tea with my dearest friends/EIHGs (including
