This week, before my trip, I did something a little insane? When I took my pants to the tailor, I also brought in some t-shirts (a fire Wales Bonner x MoMa and the suuuuper buttery CDLP one that I picked up from SSENSE). I wanted her to tailor the length so they matched the vibe I get from the (PERFECT) Leset Margo….but also, I trust my tailor implicitly (important!) so I told her to do whatever she felt in her soul. I wish I snapped before and after photos, but from now on, I will ALWAYS get 95% of tees tailored? Like the results are dramatic. I’ve never been a “jeans and a white tee” girl, but this may be my new personality? Anyway, I just wanted to share a high impact, low effort styling tip — if you feel like something isn’t working, consider taking it to a tailor you trust first! If you hate their suggestions (or if they tell you it’s just ugly….), happily return!! I think I treat online shopping like I used to treat hinge — instant gratification core. But, sometimes something isn’t an immediate yes because it hasn’t been fitted to your body correctly. That doesn’t mean it’s wrong for you, it just means that you need to go on a second date :). Xx
I went to The Row in London and I’ll never be the same. First of all, if you follow me on instagram (tbh where I am the most zany & fun), then you’ll know that I live for a James Turrell installation. There’s always been something about them that makes my insides feel abuzz with the warmest light. The Row store in London is synonymous with their glowing Turrell that changes color throughout the day. When I turned into the store, I almost cried. DW I also did some browsing… everyone was SO KIND. Sadly, no photos are allowed in store, but I will describe everything that made me wilt. Feels very printing press of us:
I spotted this vintage (1960s?) Bulgari necklace that’s big marbles of alternating gold and tigers eye. Imagine how good it looks on 1st dibs and then multiply that by a million and maybe you’ll come close to the impact IRL. It sits like a choker, and I am fixating on this parallel universe where I am currently wearing with a stiff white button down and dark blue jeans and my pink Chanel flats. Sigh.
Yeah i did the STUPIDEST thing ever & tried on my dream butter yellow sweater. Like I mean…. big spools of hand knit cashmere🫠. I’ve loved her since July (link 2 my vid on why) and I will continue to love her…. from galaxies far, far away LOL. It’s magical on — slightly cropped and a little boxy. A stunning, plush knit.
Ok you guys know that I’m into shorter coats lately (altho LOL to what you’ll find out at the bottom of this letter). I saw this coat from The Row online and wanted to order, but just wasn’t sure how it would look IRL. I spotted in store, and even the SA was taken aback by how stunning it looked on. The sleeves are slightly horseshoe-y, and it’s almost like a 60s mod peacoat in silhouette? FIT LIKE A BESPOKE GLOVE. The wool is so soft, and TBH for The Row, I feel as though it’s priced at what it’s worth. Like some things just make you feel famous? Almost wanted to call the paparazzi on myself :) :) :).
Ok I thiiiink these are very new loafers? They almost look like a gucci Princetown when you’re wearing a longer pant. They are the softest and most malleable leather, and feel like clouds and squishy air when you walk with them on. I loved the elongated almond toe, but I just couldn’t justify when I’m still having night sweats over the espresso men’s loafer…. but if you’re in the market for the perfect driving loafer — look no further.
I love when I get more distracted by interiors in a store than anything they’re actually selling. The Row has this 1920s Carlo Bugatti chair that made me want to hitch a tent and stare into her soul for 24 hours a day. I can’t find the exact one online, but it looks like a blend of this one and this one. Also — screaming that apparently AD called Carlo Bugatti the new favorite stealth/It furniture. Cool!!! Glad me & the b*llionaires are all aligned.
MY JCREW BRUSHED CASHMERE SWEATER FINALLY ARRIVED!!!! It’s fab. Obviously it is NOT anywhere near the Lisa Yang brushed cashmere. But it’s warm, doesn’t shed, feels soft, and the pigmentation of the red is even more stunning IRL. I surprisingly like the crop, but pls remember that I am 5’4!!!!! Might even layer w/ the leset margo if i’m rlly feeling scandi!!!
OK I know I know, we’ve already done a deep dive on The Row IRL. HOWEVER, I tried on a pair of Hugo’s at Bergdorf’s a couple of weeks ago, and I cannot get them out of my mind. Then I saw that net a porter has chocolate brown suede????? Like with a red cashmere sock? A BBY BLUE sock? EEK. Apparently — per my chic and perfect insta community — the brown are AMAZING. Many ppl told me it’s their favorite grail of 2024🫠🫠🫠🫠. Since they are not avail in my size, I’m gladly keeping this in the fixation box. But if you think I haven’t ferally asked at The Row/ Selfridges/et al in London this week….. then u need 2 get to know me better :) :) :).
This is my new favorite outfit: the brown Lisa Yang Kerry Sweater, Acne cropped trench (30% off rn!), Citizens of Humanity Paloma jeans, leopard Wales Bonner Sambas, and The Row belted Park Tote. I wore it to go phone banking for Harris-Walz on Monday and it was so good I immediately placed in my suitcase that evening. I also wore with a baseball cap + my old Celine nano luggage strolling through Mayfair and Marylebone on Thursday. Truly strikes the right balance between cozy, relaxed, and chic.
I think that semi sheer stocking socks in a pigmented color are perfect for loafers. I have like 10 pairs from Wolford in the MOST PERFECT RED. Sadly, they were rudely (!!) discontinued last year. Wish I had bought 100 (not kidding). Anyway, half of mine now have holes in the toe, which (from experience) is deeply embarrassing if you’re attending a gathering at someone’s home and you’re obviously shoes off (ha ha). I have been searching for a promising pair since & I think these might be it? Sadly no red, but at this point, I’m willing to diversify LOL.
This niche button down is stunning. I haven’t tried it, and am new to this brand, so I can’t entirely recommend it for quality, just for vibes. Aside from validating that a cohort of my elusive international hot girls (EIHGs) follow the brand on instagram…. I think I may want to order and see??? Love the sleeve, love the stiff collar. It’s all looking very chic (and very French).
Shopping update: last week’s coat saga has come to an end (in the short term). I HAD A FEELING that by typing “iM oVeR lOnG CoAtS” that I’d end up loving the LONG COAT. This toteme is chocolate brown wool, on sale, and unlike all of the other long coats I’ve tried this season: streamlined, yet drapey, and NOT BULKY. It’s uniquely perfect in that it makes every outfit look chic, with a hint of playfulness from the sleeves. Linking the try-on here with all the coats referenced in last week’s TM so you can see the delibs. Still waiting on the EPIC standing collar S Max Mara (20% off)!! fingers crossed.
picking up my TAILORED WHITE TEES on travel day….in the perfect toteme brown coat, goldie organic long sleeve, a cornflower blue cashmere sweater (Vince), and the row belted park tote <3 <3 <3
ALRIGHT. I reckon (lol) that’s enough from me. Wishing you the most blissful, perfect, and amazing weekend filled with yap olympics & the thrill of discovering something new (or old) that brings you joy.
US lovers, if you haven’t already — pls VOTE.
I think we’ll do a deeper dive on London shopping next fri — lmk if there’s anything specific that you’d like to see (re— small bits i’ve been posting on my insta stories) <3
ANNND I’ll talk 2 U all on Monday!!! As always, feel free to hit me in the comments or in the chat about the above (or anything new that’s on your mind). ILY the MOST!!

I love the brown Toteme coat on you and the JCrew sweater is so good and fits you perfectly.
I received my S Max Mara coat and it’s really beautiful but I’m still so confused about sizing because it’s QUITE oversized on me and I’m like do I keep that and have it be like an oversized pea coat look or size down and have more of a blazer vibe. I don’t know!!
Ok it is kind of sexier to read about the row store than seeing pics actually?? the awar reminds me of their old minimal loafer if anyone is looking for a resale option! Also I will be buying at least one pair of the mesh sock (violet!! Orange? Navy is sold out 🥲) - holy shit those SEAMS.
