Ahh, the time has come… ~~sale~~ arbitrage season is officially in full swing. Just for you, I’ve scoured the internet far & wide to deliver the kind of edit that would make the EIHGs in my (imessage) groupchats shed tears of pride. As you know, there are some house rules that accompany this send… but if you’re new here, i’m giving you a quick re-up:

We’re not buying any stupid sh*t. That means, if you wouldn’t have bought it full price then it is NOT (!!!!!!!) making its way to your cart, let alone your doorstep.
You should also ALSO know that I don’t eff around w/ final sale. At all. Don’t buy it unless you already own it, have tried it (ideally more than once), or are BEYOND certain. It’s almost never worth it.
Discernment is our sacred covenant!!! There are lots of beautiful things that go on sale everyday, but not everything is Worth It, even at sale price.
Which leads me to…. before you start buying, I rlly need U to sit in stillness w/ The Value of The Dollar (which is SUBJECTIVE based on your value system — or what econ grads would call your indifference curve). What’s Worth It to me (e.g., a cheeky 20% off at Madame Grey) might be WTF to you; that’s not only OK, but it’s also.. the point.

Every time i blink the standouts multiply… it’s as if Daniella and her team are set on a thanos-like mission to outfit every hotgirl in downtown manhattan (in which case… i humbly volunteer as tribute :D ). E.g., this perfect lil summer (evening) party dress that i’d wear w/ a pair of flip flops if i wanted to make boys cry; thankfully, I’m not suffering from that affliction as of late, thus, here are all the other picks in my cart….godspeed to my fortitude honestly:
1. The perfect drawstring pants, i said it!!!!! I just can’t decide if i’m a viscose (silky, slinky, cooler than U) or if i’m a light wool suiting (professorly, chess club-ly)….
2. No no no no no what do you MEAAAN this cape jacket is an option. I feel woozy.
3. This is the top i’d wear to assassinate my best friend’s (evil) ex’s character over our 3 martini dinner <333.
4. We’ve spoken at length about this cap…. yes it’s happening, and i’d like to see you there.
5. Suddenly i’d like to go on a hike;
6. I have a number of EHGs in my life who own this wool coat (cape?) and i believe that i’ve gouged my eyes out on the sidelines for long enough…..
7. This makes me want to drink a bottle of loomen straight after the sauna, where we’d have spent ample time discussing the merits of becoming an aspen institute fellow 4 meaningful global progress (aka shiv roy in an alt timeline).
8. What was that i said about not caring about making men cry??? i lied.
The Row’s private sale surprised me, in that what meant the most to me was this selection of $200 toe rings??? CART.
There’s also 20% off happening @ at present, which means you can get that EIHG-core belt at an oh this? price.
Toteme’s penchant for final sale gives me the yips, but DON’T think i’m not yearning for this ($500!!!!) mini, glossy red t-lock….. that as far as I can tell, isn’t on sale anywhere else. And while i’m here…. PLS someone pull me away from this shirt.
My favorite fucking bras are up to 70% off rn (i’m a 36 DD). I recommend giving the full list a scroll, but if you’re curious, I love this one a LOT.
COS is doing 30% off which isn’t overly compelling to me (honest!); however, i did an obligatory browse and these two things have stumbled into my cart (as i said — honest!): this espresso choco parka that i’m envisioning for a long walk in the fall w/ a gr8 pair of salomons w/ a gr8 sock and an obligatory layer of splits59… then there’s a pair of linen-denim drawstring pants that make me feel like summer is less of a destination and more a state of mind.

The RealReal, Moda Operandi, and MyTheresa

I’d be remiss to not alert you of the realreal’s magical sale, however, i couldn’t find my way to scrolling as I am still in mourning. I was a pinch close to buying this perfect tennis bracelet, but rolled the dice against my favor in the hopes that it would stay unpurchased 4 long enough to hit the MDW sale cycle… FALSE. Alas;
Moda Operandi is obviously my heart and my home. These LMB kitten heel pumps are hot; this is just one of those perfect red sweaters; a cutie patootie top built 4 summer (euro or stateside) for under $100; the only going-out heel you’d ever need if your goal is to top the late-night dopamine of summer ‘16; this mind-blowing proenza wool coat going for 75% off (a deal so good that it somehow doesn’t feel legal); and finally, the only flouncy (whimsical) denim shorts i really wanna see rn.
I found mytheresa’s sale to be boring, given the sheeeer volume of final sale. HOWEVER, there are a few standouts i’ll bring to the class:
1. this paisley etro top that makes my head spin
2. theeeee alemais wedding guest dress (on a HEALTHY discount)
3. and from the queen of cashmere (lisa yang), these two sweaters (veira x greer) + this navy blue polo that’s a nanosecond away from making its way into my closet…..

The Big (MDW) Three: Bergdorf’s, FWRD, and Net-a-Porter

Bergdorf’s is where i go to reset my nervous system — short & sweet but oh so meaningful: first we have this eihg core proenza polo dress that must be worn all summer; then I FOUND THEEE ALAIA CRISSCROSS BALLET FLATS @ 40% OFF — in punchy velvet blues + another in fuchsia calf hair !!! As you’re aware, I’ve recently tracked down a pair and they are incredibly comfy. Lastly, and i don’t even know how this is possible, there’s an orangey suede alaia teckel clutch (the top handle) going for 30% off…. perfect for summer —pinch ME!!!!!
We might be underestimating FWRD bc they are NOT messing around…..
1. First, they’re delivering what others have failed — a holy grail lineup of HERBERT LEVINE ON SALE!!!!!!!! Like What ! Do ! You ! Mean ??????
2. I’d also like to add that summer, if you’re doing it right, is for the hostess gift. I like to replenish my gifting closet during MDW because i think being thrifty is a virtue. Case one: this flamingo estate moment; case two: this EIHG core (stealth!) candle that i discovered out east. From NAP (section below!) — there’s a healthy amount of gohar world on sale, 10/10 recommend giving that a peruse!!!
3. Literary cowgirls, WYA!!!! I found the perfect (50% off!!) sophie buhai cuff 4 u!!!!
4. Leave the lord’s work to the girls in LA—bc heaps of our favorite Long Walk Culture activewear (splits59!!!) is on sale here!!!! THE most buttery THE most flattering;
5. And huge cough, the dries selection happening rn is ROCKING ME — from these iconic sock boots (which will only be even MORE up this fall, based on fw26), our staple (EIHG CORE) sneakers, this very very cool satin overcoat which miiight only be ousted by this rust bomber; and a sequins wrap skirt to rlly activate the most out of you this summer :D.

Net a porter is where things get nutty. My head spun on a swivel and there was simply Too Much Good Stuff, thus, it’s only right that we end on a high note:
1. Arch4 cashmere is a (stealth) EIHG winner. Highly recommend giving it a scroll, but if you need a nudge, i’d start here and here <3.
2. For my hot girls following ~~The Artist’s~~ Emma Grede’s Way and clocking into the office, i’d recommend you give this very strong, very on-sale selection of EIHG-core LMB footwear a peruse. The me who (barely) survived winter is especially excited to see these!!
3. If you’ve been on the fence about dragon diffusion for a while, i’d say the time might be now (i’m partial to this one).
4. Yes, I do believe in this toteme shirt’s hegemony over summer. And this version is my favorite.
5. A very dreamy pair of (khaite) white poplin pants (50% off!!).
6. It’s actually unfair how much these bally loafers mean to me.

14. Nothing says summer like a suzie kondi haul. I’d like to call these 40% off silk taffeta balloon pants to the front of the class, alongside this perfect terry set (sweatshirt + shorts) that is begging to be worn w/ this phoebe philo beach bag and a pair of $40 flip flops.
15. I love buying winter clothes during MDW, sorry!!!!! I’ve been eyeing this toteme coat (incredibly warm) since sept and i’m finally dealing myself in. If you’d prefer an oversized wool coat in GREY, this rohe one has gotten rave reviews from an EHG in my life. And if you’ve been interested in the suzie kondi jooshi universe (the softest spools of handknit cashmere you’ll ever touch) — there’s the sweater and the accompanying mittens + hat up for grabs in GR8 colors.
16. Spring-summer me in a shirt.
17. A dinner, date-night, going out top that just fckn GETS IT DONE. We all need one in our arsenal, might as well do it for 50% off.
18. When i saw these pumps, i immediately thought of my EIHG BFF who speaks 5 languages and is an international M&A attorney; do with that what u will….
19. I will be honest, in my universe this EIHG beloved bag is not worth the full price. However, the sale price makes MUCH more sense to me, and for that I am gr8ful.
20. Another winter stockpile that you’ll be glad to have cashed in on — lisa yang’s little cashmere triangle scarf (very en vogue) + her neeeeext effing level cashmere socks (ribbed knits + brushed cashmere).
21. Oh, and here’s a double-breasted khaite wool jacket (hip length) that is capital W, capital I… Worth It.
22. I own these in black and they are so perfect (so flattering, goes with everything, vvvvv comfy x can walk forever in them); so naturally, this brown pair is being interviewed to join the family.
23. The downtown take on a waxed jacket is on sale.
24. Again, for my office EHGs (i love you), here’s a great under $200 cardigan for when the AC is blasting despite it reaching UV 10 outdoors.
25. FYI—I will be very very annoying until i own this satin peplum jacket…….

  1. I recently saw Taylor Barnett wear this dress as an overcoat (while on vacation?) and my brain spun. An immediate buy for EHGs & EIHGs everywhere, i believe.
  2. Similarly, rohe makes this set that will soon be showing up in our summer starter pack; it’s rlly the ethos of the axis we’re trying to sustain.
  3. For my Morgan Stewart McGraw truthers, i feel as though this tomato red parka makes much sense.
  4. Recently featured in our hobby-maxxing EIHG starter pack, i love when good things go on sale.
